How to connect your Nokia ONT directly to your PC to access the internet - bypass your router.

Done on Windows 11 with a static IP, connected via ethernet
Static IP users enter your username and password
Non static ip users; it should connect without any username or password.
(This only works if you have a Nokia ONT).

This guide is only for troubleshooting; for example if your router isn't working or you need test your fibre connection without the router etc.

1. Nokia ONT connected directly to a PC via ethernet
2. Windows settings - search for dial up, select - connect to the Internet
3. Select - Broadband PPPoE
4. Enter your Fibrus username and password if you have one.
5. Windows will check and test your connection
6. If successful, you will now be connected to the internet.
