- Use HP Smart to connect the printer to your wireless network.
- Turn on the printer.
- On your computer, download and install HP Smart (in English) from the Microsoft store.
- On the printer control panel, press and hold the Cancel and Wireless buttons for three seconds, and then release the buttons.
- Note:
You must complete the network setup within two hours.
- Power button blinks for about 10 seconds, and then Wireless button blinks continuously. It indicates that the setup mode is enabled on the printer.
- On your computer, open HP Smart, and then click the Plus sign.
- HP Smart searches for printers on your wireless network.
- Select your printer, and then click Continue.
- When prompted, type the WEP or WPA key (network password).
- After the printer connects to your wireless network, click
- Wireless light on the control panel turns solid blue indicating that the printer has successfully connected to your wireless network.
